NOTICE: Effective July 1, 2022, SB 768, Department of Health, will impact the education requirements for the Endorsement of 10 Years of Licensed Psychologist Experience Application Method. For this method only, the law redefines a “doctoral degree in psychology” as a Psy.D., Ed.D. in psychology, or a Ph.D. in psychology from a psychology program at an educational institution that, at the time the applicant was enrolled and graduated, had institutional accreditation from an agency recognized and approved by the United States Department of Education, or, was recognized as a member in good standing with the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada. Programmatic accreditation of the applicant’s doctoral degree in psychology, by the American Psychology Association (APA), will no longer be required for this application method as of the noted effective date. An updated application form reflecting these changes will be made available no later than July 1, 2022.
